Let me get this straight - people, SCCA-type people even, are complaining
about a manufacturer actually making an effort to build a higher
performance car, one that would be good to drive in competition.
Especially when that manufacturer offers to build as many as people want,
and more. Not only that, but many local dealers (even in Santa Flake) have
always seemed to have a couple of ACRs on the lot, obviously intending to
sell to the general public since the local sports car club just ain't that
big a market! They even have the gall to offer an absurdly generous
contingency package not only for the pro racers, but us lowlifes at the
grassroots level. And these cars are cheap to boot? It's an outrage! We
demand lower performance cars!?!?!?
Do I have this straight?
