I have a question for all you racing types. ;^) (yes that's you!)
I have a 2.3L 4 cyl and would like to get a different muffler. My
delima is that it has to be small, (fit in the exhaust tunnel smaller
than a Cat Converter) and it needs to muffel the exhaust with out being
restrictive. I am rather picky about the sound and don't care for the
chambered (aka Flowmaster) types. I like the sound to be deeper without
a tinny noise. The Flowmaster tends to make my engine sound like a
swarm of bees.
Does anyone out there make such a muffler???
I would like it to be loud, BUT I carry small children in the car
regularly and don't want to hurt thier ears. So quiet is necessary
unless I can open it up for race day. Can you make a supertrapp quiet
without killing the top end? That's the only place this engine humms....
Thanks!!
