Summary of responses on weight of 1.6L vs. 1.8L Miatas:

Weight estimates ranged from 20 lbs. - 100 lbs. more for the 1.8L for
"similarly" equipped cars of the different vintages.  Most weights given for
1.6L cars were just shy of 2100 lbs. where 1.8L's were just shy of 2200.

Additional weight was attributed to heavier engine, differential, and doors,
and addition of passenger side air bag and chassis braces.
