Not a good idea unless you change rotors as well. 
Pads containing carbon tend to deposit the stuff on
the rotor surface ("carbon loading"), which can zap
the coefficient of friction of stock non-carbon pads
(i.e. NO FREAKIN' BRAKES!)  =:-0
