Bugged me, too -- but you mean "PORE-sha", doncha? ;)
Which reminds me of a story I read in a car mag years ago. An editor
coudn't understand why one of his readers/callers kept saying "pore-tee-ay"
instead of "pore-sha".
It seems someone had written in a prior issue that it's not pronounced
"Porsh", but "Portia" -- as in the Shakespearean character. *We* know the
name is pronounced "porsha", but it seems that spelling only made matters
worse for that particular reader! :]
