I was working station 5 on Sunday (the sweeper that exited on toward the
final offsets), and everybody working in the section would take a step
back when we heard Danny Popp was on the line. :) He was one of the few
people who looked to be "on the ragged edge." It sure looked like he
was having fun!
Sunday's course was probably my favorite course since .... Sunday's
course last year. Both were similar, but I think this year's was a bit
more demanding. My car was a handful! Of course, running on street
tires probably had something to do with it.
