I would guess the main problem/drawback to be a lack of torque from the
motorcycle engine.

Unless you get a killer Yamaha V-Max motor.  ;^)

You'd probably have a hard time mating any kind of car transmisison to
the motorcycle engine and I'm sure the cycle tranny wouldn't live long
under the stresses of a car's weight.  But the sequential shift tranny
would be kinda neat.

It'd be far cheaper and easier to buy a used RX-7 rotory motor and
tranny.  In my opinion.
