Since my wife is coming with me to the Evansville Tour, I figured it
might be nice if she had a car to run around town in while I'm out "playing"
all day. Turns out that Enterprise Rental Car has a special that weekend of
$32.70 for the entire weekend (not per day!) for a Geo Metro with a milage
limit of 300 mi. for the weekend. So If anyone is bringing thier significant
other and might want to rent a car, the phone number is 812 473-4411. You
can't seem to get the special rate calling the 1-800 number, only calling
Evansville direct. Also, my wife might be looking for other wives who might
be interested in seeing some local sights during the day on Saturday and
Sunday.
On a related note, since I assume that when I tech on Friday night,
the car has to have the Kumho's on it, is there any way that I could just
leave the car at the event site so I don't have to swap tires each morning
and evening. Or do people just drive to thier hotels on thier R tires at
night? Please forgive the basic questions, as this is my first ever National
Tour event.
