I concur. I don't HAVE to use the equalizer with the 3/4 ton Dodge
turbo diesel the way I did the Ford 351 V8 1/2 ton conversion van,
but still opt to do so. I also continue to use the sway bars.

The pull is more comfortable, and IMO safe, using both.

I was pulling a consistant 85 in cruise and 5th gear with no problem
this past weekend with this combo.

I went from Tulsa to Ft Worth to get the car, then Ft Worth to
Huntsville, AL (via Shreveport, Meridian, and Birmingham) to
deliver it. Then returning to Tulsa (via Memphis/Little Rock).

Wouldn't have done as well in AR with those washboard roads
and crosswinds without either, that's for sure.
