The standard Elise is more like 1450 and 118. This sounds like one of the
Sport versions brought to the USA for off-road use only. I wouldn't want to
be in the driver seat when the Feds figured out that the owner reneged on
the agreement.
Any Elise would be real hoot in autocross. But since Lotus is selling them
faster than they can make them, I don't expect them to bring the cars to the
USA any time soon.
