Would slicks work on a heavy (3500 lb) ESP car? Since most CP cars are much lighter than that and run insanely wide (12") wheels, I wonder whether ESP cars with 9-10" wheels _could_ run slicks without really cutting up/overheating them. Has anyone ever seen a heavy car respond well to slicks? All of the underprepared CP cars out there (ESP cars with SFCs for example) that I've seen are on DOT tires. Rich Johnston 95 Z28 ESP NER |
