Nah. There's lots of 'em out there. I've picked up decent Rover
3.5's for $200. I got a nice 3.9 with fuel injection for $900 (from
a '91 Range Rover). RPI sells new 3.9s for $1700 or so. These are the
go-(really)-fast engines for the MG and Triumph folks, used in the factory
built MGB GT V-8 and TR-8. (And used by Morgan, Marcos, TVR, Westfield).
Nice engine. Simple, and old, but lightweight. The TeamSanc pages have
lots of links to Rover V-8 info.
