Well, I went back to the dealer today and talked with my salesman. He
had the head mechanic look at it and was going to put it on the computer,
but being a chevy dealer they appearently didn't have the correct hookup.
Anyway, the mechanic changed the plug wires and the plugs but the
problem didn't go away. It did subside once the car got really warmed
up. Odd? The mechanic guessed that it needed a valve adjustment. Does
this sound right to anyone? Anyway, the dealer wanted 7800 for it with
the hardtop.
Well, thanks to those of you who replied, any other info would be
interesting, but it looks like I might step away from this one and go
with a nice V6 Camaro I saw there instead. I'm not sure that I want to
take the risk with this one. Am I making a wise decision?
Thanks again,
Mark
