In all honesty, you just described DS. The main reason I joined in that
madness is that I get to see how I stack up without worrying too much
about having the right car.
What I would like to do is get a junker of the most un-autocross like
car, and equip it with the worst of everything. Worn out shocks, old
Fleet Farm tires, marginal brakes, automatic trans that downshifts in
all the wrong places, 32 steering wheel turns lock to lock,.... Run
this bad boy at the end of an event with a set of qualifying drivers.
We'll see who is the best driver for sure!
