Excellent point, David.  A pre-drive is always better than having to
change things after the event has started.  But, if you can't work in
a pre-drive, you can at least have one or two of the fastest Stock or
Street Prepared cars make the first runs.  That way you still can make
your adjustments before you get too deep into things.

My point was geared more toward verifying the 75 mph Neon comment that
appeared early in this thread.
