A friend just send me this note:
> FYI: Entry forms for the Heartland Park Drivers School/Regional/PCDE on
> April 10/11 are now posted at http://www.kcrscca.org/
Of interest to autocrossers, wannabe racers (but I just don't have a race
car yet), etc., ... the PCDE - Performance Car Driving Event - is open to
virtually anyone in any car. You can hotlap Heartland Park in your daily
driver. You get a classroom session and individual tutoring from national
license race drivers, and several on-track sessions over the two days
of the event. Need a Snell 75 or better helmet. Open cars (not Targas
or T-Tops) need a rollbar. All others do not. Speeds are generally held
down to max 85 mph by a chicane on the main straight, but the rest of the
track is open.
there is also a paddock autocross Sunday.
Oh yeah, there's a regu8lar race driver's school Saturday and a Regional
race Sunday too.
