Someone else has suggested that the cat may have gone "tango-uniform." (Not
his words...) This is a good suggestion, which we are going to check out.
Also, does this car have a knock sensor? If so, it's possible that it is
detecting enough detonation at this rpm to dial back the timing significantly.
Anyone have problems withthe RPM Sensor? That could be sending incorrect info
to the ECM.
Any other ideas?
