Since folks seem pretty happy with the BFGs and Kumhos which use the same
tires for both autox and road race, I was curious how the Hoosier road race
compound works on the autox course. Are the Hoser autox and road race tires
hugely different? I have an ITS class 2nd gen. RX7 with Hoosier road race
tires ( R3S02 225/50-14), and they seem to take a couple of laps to get up
to temperature, so I was wondering if these would really suck for autox.
I'm interested in trying the car in Solo2 CSP, and I don't want to buy a
dedicated set of autox tires for the car.
