"Went out on a big track for some spirtited driving over the weekend. I
was humbled as the competition crushed me for lap times. What I'm
curious about is how does one take autoX experience to a fast pace
track?"
You've already gotten some good advice regarding gradually finding
you/your cars limits at the track. One place you might find some time
is under braking. I'd wager the faster drivers are going much deeper
into the turns than you and braking much harder. I've learned a lot
about braking since driving at Blackhawk Farms.
