I was talking to Mark Shuler at TriPoint Engineering
a couple of days ago and he informed me that they,
and a couple of other companies, have put up
contingency payout money for the 1999 Pro Solo
season for prepared and modified cars that don't
otherwise have a class in Pro Solo. Sounds like
first, second, and third place payout with the cars
being indexed (handicapped) against the National
indexes. Sounds like a great time and an opportunity
for the "Ground Pounders" to run in Pro Solo after all.
Mark said there would be a notice coming out soon.
