HELP: Trailer Wiring

I just went to hook up my trailer (4-wire flat) and all lights work 
(brake, turn, flasher) except for the running lights.  I need to tow 
tomorrow .  Does anyone knowledgeable in trailer wiring have an idea on 
what I can check to fix this?  Thanks in advance.

Two different trailers had the same result.
