I had an apparent overheating issue on my SV, and tried everything, until I
got to the regulator, which was faulty, and causing the reading to be over 100
C. Changing the regulator brought it back down to the normal reading, so it
wasn't overheating at all.
Certainly worth investing a few cents in a regulator before trying any of the
messier and expensive remedies.
