The following link gives a good overview of the swap.  I did it this way an it 
works nicely.  The only issue is the tensioner arm.  I couldn't get the factory 
alternator arm to work.  I had to fabricate one.

OK, the time has come to finally bite the bullet, and swap the old dynamo out 
for an alternator.
