Chuck, Do you have the splines inside of the overdrive lined up? With a
long screwdriver and some patience you can get these lined up.  Then
make sure you have the plunger of the oil pump and the low (smallest
side of the cam on the gearbox output shaft lined up. A Sunbeam friend
and I just put one together, in fact last night! Hope this helps,
