I think this is the way I'll go. I spent a couple of hours last night
pouring over tiger books with reprints and photos, etc, you know the usual
ones,
Craig gave me several of the type. I was suprised how many alpines and tigers
used the studs in the rear demister holes. Seems to be only the mk 2 s that had
them relocated futher to the rear. I do have one good pic of Nicks dash in
his car. But not good enough to get real accurate measurements, certanly not
good enough to start putting holes in a brand new dash cover. I plan to use
the demister holes, I think Craig even gave me the threaded studs for them.
Then after the top is done fit the tonneau using the earlier style of front
mounting. Not quite original I know, but sure one heck of alot easier Guess I

should have brought the car home in Dec, so I could have been sussing this out
in Feb, instead of in good driving weather. It's ok ,I think this might be
an easy fix, anyone have a tonneau for sale before I order
one?......cheers....phil
