Been there, done that, as I'm sure many others have. 

About a year back, I had just finished overhauling the rear brake system, 
lines, seals, shoes etc., and the last job was to attach the new lines, 
and........as you so eloquently put it, a real pisser.

They're not made of the best alloy in the world, those wee cylinders. If you 
don't get the rabbit in the whole 100% striaght, you're in for a hard time.
