I would use the series v discs since they are larger diameter and will
therefore give you better braking capability. The series 1 didn't come with
a booster, so this will reduce your pedal force, not greatly, but some. You
will have to swap spindles and lower A arms to do so, but I think it would
be worth it since series 1,2,3 front end parts are drying up. If you have
the series 4 or 5 brakes, use those also, the pads are easier to gte and
300% cheaper. This is my opinion, But the choice is yours in the end. Lou
