or personal check, although personal check will have to clear before

Heavy leatherette covers. Ca. 8 x 10". Ca. 450 pages. Very good
condition. I didnt use it as I had another one, so it was safely filed
away. $50.
2. NOS and extremely rare in this condition: THE
SUNBEAM ALPINE OWNERS HANDBOOK. From title page: The Sunbeam Alpine
Series II. Issued by Sunbeam-Talbot Limited Service Dept....Part No.
6600806. Issued 1961. Ref: 1B.344/2.
68 pages. Ca. 5 = x 8 =. This handbook is in great shape, and appears
not to have been opened very often! The covers show slight fading &
there is a very pale (negligible) staining, as if from water, at bottom
of pages toward back. The large fold-out 3-color lube chart inside back
cover is mint & the folds are as crisp as new. The gold print on front
cover is pristine.
I kept this handbook wrapped & filed away as I had another one. (Hint: I
xeroxed the other handbook, bound it, & kept that in my Alpine so I
didnt have to refer to an original.) $60.

Magazine.

This is a very pop magazine, a fun time trip (Pat Boone Cuts a
Record!! I Rode an Atom Sub!!).

Issue: Prices & Specifications of More Than 60 U.S. & Imported Cars.

11. June 1962 CARS ILLUSTRATED Magazine (British). Featuring a
white Sunbeam Alpine on the 4/color cover. (The cover is actually a
Rootes ad; the photo is also used as a large b/w ad that appeared in The
Queen magazine, for sale below.)
A 48-page, 8 = x 11" magazine. No Sunbeam article, just on the cover.
But nice for your collection. Mint condition. $10.

This is one of the Cuban Missile Crisis issues. Perhaps quite a
collector item. On cover: The Danger-Filled Week of Decision: Cuba.
There is a full-age Sunbeam Alpine ad: Is it too chic to be champ?
104 pp. Label on cover. Good condition. Needless to say, many
interesting articles/photos/ads. $10.
14. 1961 SPORTS CARS ILLUSTRATED DIRECTORY. A 144-page,
magazine-format collection published by Ziff-Davis. 8 = x 11". Cover
montage includes photo of a red Sunbeam Alpine. Page 7 is a full-page
b/w ad for same (Pick yourself a Sunbeam and ride it to the sky).
There is a Buyers Guide to 225 New Cars. Includes a 6-page report on
the Alpine, as well as the Austin 850 and Triumph, among 9 others. Very
good condition. $10.
17. A Series II Sunbeam Alpine WALL CLOCK. Cute as can be.
Picture of red Alpine w/ black hardtop in center of face, with Alpine
logo above. Black frame. Plastic. Runs on AA battery. 9-inch diameter.
Excellent condition. $15.
18. Rare vintage Sunbeam Alpine pin. Cloisonne just like
the emblem on the bonnet! 3/4" diameter. Or wear it as a single earring.
Beautiful. $10.
19. Metal parking sign: SUNBEAM ALPINE PARKING ONLY. All
others will be towed. Looks just like the no-parking signs on the
street, but with the Alpine logo typeface. Black and red type on white
w/ red border. 9x12. Never used (mint). $18.
20. RED CORDUROY BASEBALL CAPS (TWO) W/ ROUND SUNBEAM
ALPINE PATCH. Never worn. $10 each.
21. Mint, still in original unopened package: TOY CAR
REPLICA of James Bonds Dr. No Sunbeam Alpine by Johnny Lightning.
Authentic replica, die-cast metal body & chassis. Car is blue, about 2.5
inches long. With collector card. Pictures of Bond & actresses.

22. INTERNATIONAL SPORTS CAR GLASSES. One large tapered
martini mixer (or vase), 6.5 inches tall with 3.5-inch opening. Plus
set of 3 drinking glasses, each 5 inches high, tapered w/ 2.5-inch
opening. (In other words, smaller than ice tea glasses but taller than
juice glasses. Cocktails?) Clear glass imprinted (slightly embossed) w/
black and one other color cars & their logos: #1, red Sunbeam Alpine &
Alfa Romeo; #2, green Fiat and Jaguar; #3, blue Maserati and Mercedes
Benz. Each glass also has something symbolic of cars country (Leaning
Tower of Pisa, Big Ben, etc.) Large mixer glass has all 6 cars in yellow
and red. Mint. $20.
23. UNUSUAL SET OF 6 SPORTS CAR GLASSES. Tall & slender
clear glasses with surprisingly elegant decoration. 6.5" tall w/ 2-inch
mouth (opening). Gold trim around mouth, in logos, and thinly banded
near bottom of glass. Inch-wide band of black & white racing checks runs
length of glass vertically, intersected on each glass by a large
different multicolor logo: Sunbeam Alpine, Ford Mustang, Alfa Romeo,
Austin Healey Sprite, Porsche, Mercedes Benz. Never used (by me), always
wrapped, look brand new. (I may have to download a photo of these to do
them justice.) $25.
