Pros:
cheap to rent
easy to operate
low towing weight compared to a car trailer

Cons:
Difficult to back up when car is loaded; avoid such situations
Wide track; watch out for bridges, etc.!

Years ago I towed an Alpine parts car 200 miles on a car dolly with no
problems.
