You must be looking at that brand new Cricket trans on e-bay!  The Cricket
trans probably could be made to fit a Series V, but it is an entirely new
trans (to go with the entirely new engine).  To start with, the clutch housing
is part of the transmission case-so adapting it would be VERY difficult.  You
would probably be better off using a Jap trans.  The Cricket was a whole new
departure for Rootes/Chrysler UK-sort of like a new Imp.  There was almost no
carry over from the previous models (unlike the "Arrow" cars).
