Chris;
You've got it!! Actually, we have been looking at an event similar to this,
except trying
to keep it to five states....Contact me off list if you'd like to talk more.

Great! Let's get some rallies going! How about an East Coast challenge -
Maine to Fla?

Subject: New Alpine organization

Hi Folks;
In light of the recent annoucement of the "new" Alpine club, SAOC of
America.
I would like to announce my position with SAOCA as Vice President, Brian
Schilt has stepped down as V.P.
because of personal obligations but, will still be involved with the new
organization as Events Coordinator.
I would like to assure everyone that I will be working very closely (and
have been) with Ian and the other board members to
see that SAOCA becomes a very active and proud organization.
There are many roles within the board of directors, I would like to say that
everyone is working very hard (in some cases, investing our own money) to
create a quality organization that all members will be proud of.
I will continue my position as Regional Chairman (Eastern Pa.) to assist
those in my area who would like to
create an active local chapter.
I hope to work with many of you in the near future.

                                                        Jeff
