<Has anyone ever heard of someone installing a
<non-Sunbeam master cylinder.

            > Yes, I put a master cylinder from a Nissan Truck,
same dimensions, exact fiting and works great

<Which year and model???

It is about 75 to 78, and is for the only Nissan small truck in Mexico, and
for some cars to like 1600, (it has near all the same mechanic of Rootes).
I try to find in some parts shop the number part, but unsuccessfully, the
price is about under 100.00 dollars with reservoir.
I don't remember exactly (I install at least four or five years ago) but may
be is necessary adjust the spigot long. My S V don't have servo.

In despite I find the number part for the master cylinder for the clutch,
from Nissan too, there are one from the reservoir in the middle and other
with the reservoir near at the end numbers 30610N6001 and 30610 W5700
respectively, the price is about under 60.00 dollars.

If some one is interested I can send a picture of mine, with both brake and
clutch master cylinders, with any problems after fixed it.
I don't know if is acceptable attach pictures in this list.

If some one is interested, because I know this parts are not available in
SS, (reason because I change to Nissan) with pleasure I can buy for you and
send it, of course after I ask for the exact price for the parts and for the
shipment. My time is a gift to lovers of Sunbeam
