If anyone lives near Waycross, Georgia, the December issue of Cars and
Parts (which usually has very few British features) highlights a wrecking
yard there that has an Alpine (page 59) . Looks like a series III. Hood
is gone engine is there, a wire wheel sits on top, windshield looks good,
trunk is up and looks good, front end looks ok but valence is dinged,
right side is very straight but most paint gone. may be worth a visit for
someone as the yard is almost exclusively American stuff. same yard has a
Jensen with a hardtop. Page 61, same issue has a nice Tiger at the Mad
Dogs and Englishman show in Michigan.
