Rob,
Do you have the original fan on the car still? My over-heating problems
began when I installed an electric fan and removed the mechanical fan. I
did all the same things you did, and it still over-heated until I
re-installed the mechanical fan. Also, I would not consider my car
over-heating until it gets to about 190 F or more.

Subject: Oil cooler
Listers,
Does anyone have a decent oil cooler to recommend?
I've just had my radiator boiled out and re-cored, new water pump, new
thermostat (twice - 160 degree) and electric fan from VB installed. Now the
SV is overheating. No cooling problems before. That's what I get for
preventative maintenance.
First, I changed the thermostat - adjusted the timing - new plugs. Some
help,
but still a problem. The temp gauge registers about 90-100 - worse an a
climb - about 110. Ambient temp about 80-85 F. Will an oil cooler help?
Thanks, Thanks, Thanks
