I don't think it's the list server, as I've been running this new address
for over a month, and I've yet to get any spam at all. But, different
providers have different track records. I know AOL has been notorious for
spam, there are hacks out there that specialize in slicing up AOL to harvest
email addresses. I suppose other are susceptible as well.
Just to play it safe, I keep all my Ebay transactions on a Hotmail account,
rather than my regular mail, but so far, even that account gets very little
spam.
