That's a good question. I've always tought the same thing too. It never seems
to line up quite the same as the illustration in the book... Jarrid, What's

I've reinstalled mt oil pump on my 1600 serII engine and the slot that is
supposed to line up at 47-50 degrees seems to line up more like at 44 degrees
with #1 at TDC. Is this OK?
