I think the most desireable engine is from the mid '80s Ford trucks. The
BroncoII, Ranger, and Aerostar vans have them. I think '85 is the year
to look for. The following year, Ford introduced the 2.9 w/fuel
injection. All the 2.8s had a carb. Usually, the owners of the
BroncoIIs, pull the V6 and swap in a 302 V8. Thats how I found three
motors from a single owner one time. The T-54 trannys are pulled
sometimes from parted out T-birds. I have two that I found in the paper.
