Maybe he just took out the front seat and drove from the bench seat. I knew
a guy that did that with an old Buick coupe, of course he was about seven
feet tall (honest).

WOW. Where did he mount the drive seat? The Ford 429 is big engine and
I expect the firewall to be moved back about a foot or two.
