I got the rear axle disassembled, and as promised, all eight bolts were barely finger tight. Does anyone have any ideas how this happens? All eight bolts were the same tightness (or looseness), all washers were intact and properly bent over. Is this an example of the droll British humor? By the way, anyone wanting to see how an oil slinger works should remove the differential drain plug with an impact wrench. Bill |
