Hi all: That sounds about right, Rob. Ol' Blue is #14649 and the rear axle
is a 3.89. So, with the 3.89 and my 5 speed, cruising is really nice!

Ed, My parts manual says the 4.22 was used with standard transmissions
on Series Vs up to B395010312 when they began putting in the 3.89s .
Hope this helps. If you do have a 3.89 with overdrive you ought to be
able to really cruise!
