Well I pulled out the leaking radiator to discover that the bottom tank
has more cracks than I care to count - beyond repair according to a
radiator shop I trust. New bottom tanks not available in this country
as far as I can find out, maybe someone knows different? Other tanks of
the correct thickness are to wide, but they can fabricate a new tank by
cutting two of these in half and rejoining at the correct width. But I
don't know how good the top tank is and if that goes shortly after
bottom is fixed, well even more expense (core is ok). Could turn out
just as cheap for them to fabricate a new top tank at the same time.

One option might be a Hillman Hunter radiator as I have been told it is
identical to that in an SV Alpine - questions are 1) are the radiators
in S3 and SV Alpines identical? 2) Anyone in Australia know of anyone
wrecking Hillman Hunters? 3) Any other ideas at all

Oh, by the way Bob (Berghult), nice disgusting food funny, but clearly
written by someone who has never eaten 'musk' lifesavers which taste
neither like musk nor like raw meat. Anyway, the whole things a bit
rich, coming from the nation that gave the world that recycled roadkill
known as MacBurgers or whatever.

Thanks

Vic Hughes

S3, so many things fixed now that it must nearly be over
