Parts alingment

I have been putting this off because I have no idea how to go about this.
On my Series I, there are the 3 panels that flip out to stow the soft top.
The two side panels are pushed down at the front and away from the side at
the rear.  The rear panel is just right on the passenger side and about 5/8"
away from the back when closed, it also scrapes against the drivers side
panel when putting up or down.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to align these things?
