| Pete,
    I found an easy solution for your throttle bracket question.  I went to 
an auto-parts store and purchased some nylon fasteners designed to hold a 
license plate to a bumper.  They are designed to spread as you screw in a 
sheetmetal screw, and do not require access from the rear.
