While I agree almost 100% with Chris, if you are indeed badly burned by
someone and you cannot work it out, you might want to post it to warn the rest
of us. You might state exactly what occurred (from your prespective) and post
it. There have been a number of newspaper articles (and police
investigations) of people doing various frauds over the internet. I have been
"scammed" myself three times-in one case I think the person I was dealing with
had the beginnings of Alzheimers, but the other two were overseas and never
did pay-both claimed they sent money but neither would be specific as to when
sent, etc. One was a "general delivery" in Nova Scotia-I should have
guessed!

I wish the original post had come to my box, for I'd like to see the
exact comments that were made. Apparently, from what I can gather,
they were quite strong, aside from the subject line.
I think I speak for everyone when I say, if you are going to flame one
of our own on the list then we don't want you here. Period. We all
love our cars and we support one another, especially those that help us
maintain our cars, like Curt. There is no room for flamers on this
list.
If you have a complaint, I suggest you work it out with the offending
party rather than trashing their reputation in a public forum. If you
feel compelled to speak up, then do it anonymously, removing
identifying information.
I also have had nothing but pleasant dealings with Curt and fully
support him in his business. He is to be commended for his efforts,
not condemned.
