John and others similarly O/D privileged,

FYI, this month's (May 2001) "Classics" magazine from the UK has a technical
article on how to strip down and rebuild the Laycock-de Normanville D-Type
overdrive unit. 18-step, full color photos.

Note: This is not Practical Classics magazine. This comes from SPL
publishing, and there's a contact for back issues listed (Jane Barrett;
jbarrett@splpublishing.co.uk). I've never seen it on a newstand here. They
readily accepted Visa when I subscribed. (Note: anyone caught leaking the
cost for a subscription to my wife will be officially placed on the Enemies
of the Marque list!)

Cheers,
Jonathan
