Sent Again; Mitsubishi 5-Speed Conversion for Alpines?

Good day, listers! I have heard rumors of a Mitsubishi 5-speed conversion for
Alpines which may not require extensive modifications for fitting, or great
expense, like that of the Toyota Supra conversion, etc. Does anyone have
information about this? If there is indeed such a conversion, does the tranny
come from a Dodge D-50 or Mitsubishi pickup, or, ?
