Accelerator (gas) pedal

Hi all,
I'm at work, my parts list is at home, can anyone help with this?

Is the accelerator (or gas or throttle) pedal the same on right- and 
left-hand drive cars? If not, how are they different, could a LHD pedal be 
fitted to my RHD car?
