I didn't mean to scare you . What I was implying is, that if you goto a higher
octane
fuel that the engine was designed for , you can have problems. If you have over
hauled
and rebuilt the engine the problem possibilities go down . I would not advise
using
high octane fuel in an old engine . High octane fuels tend to take out valves
and
generate more heat. Also you may adjust the timing to fit the fuel along with
the
carbs.
