The nut size is 3/4 Whitworth or 7/8 BS.  33.2mm It's a classic vintage =
British size from way back.

Measured with a vernier gauge 1 5/16" is larger, or 33mm might fit =
tightly.

Dang! Most sockets sets stop 1 size short.......but not Snap-On

Best to get the right tooling, it comes in handy elsewhere.
Like on the steering box for the drop-arm nut and the steering wheel =
itself and again for the differential pinion nut.

Often a combination wrench will not access these nuts, a deep offset =
ring spanner ( Box wrench ) is best.

Happy wrenching, save knuckle busting wherever possible.
