Alpine Tires

I have been testing sizes for my S2 Alpine with stock 13" wheels. The
tires I currently have are 175-80-13 Pirelli's and are now 20 years old.
They still look great but after the accident from SUNI 3 I think it time
to replace for safety. I mounted a 185-70-13 and tried the clearance for
front steering with no problems. Has anyone tried this tire size? Any
adverse handling or suspension problems? Any feedback either way will
